11 August 2011 You may derive the meaning from the following details.

1. Examples of service provided from India and used out side India:-
a) If a Management Consultant or a Consulting Engineer provides the consultancy service from India to a foreign company situated outside India.
b) If service provider in India deputes his / her consultant abroad or provides the service to foreign customer abroad by opening a branch office or any other establishment in that country.
2. Examples of services outside rule 3(2)of Export of service rules,2005.
a) where a foreign company comes to India and takes the services of manpower recruitment agency in India for recruitment of personnel.
b) foreign tourist coming to India and enjoying taxable services in India(even though making payment in foreign currency).
