One of my client was served with a expartae Assessment Order under section 144 "Without a Signature of the Assessing Officer" Kindly direct me as to what are the consequences i can take over the Assessing officer?

An unsigned order is invalid. Seek an appeal before the CIT (Appeals) to set aside the assessment order.
