We are making payment of Rs.15000/- as medical reimbursement and also giving the exemption Rs.15000/- for medical Insurance payments u/s 80D. Is it clear or any amendments are made from f.y 2011-12. At the time of Income tax return limit is showing as Rs.35000/- why? please give your valuable suggestions

31 July 2012 Medical reimbursement Rs.15000 will not reflect anywhere in Income tax return of Individuals

In Income tax return section 80D will show maximum of Rs.35000/- for the limit of following

1. Own & spouse & children - Maximum Rs.15000
2. Parents - Rs.15000 ( but senior citizen Rs.20000)

so maximum allowable deduction Rs.35000 under this section. so ITR allowing the same.

but while putting the figure you need to calculate correctly and mention
