excise duty of sales return

we are manufacturer. we sold 2000qty to Customer(manufcature) in april 2011, they returned 1985qty to us on april 2011, can I take cenvat credit for retuned value?
Please advice me the above issue.

ask your buyer to raise a invoice for said qty in favour of you or get the credit not extracting the excise duty on it
