Excess Service Tax paid on Output Service

10 June 2011 Hi

I have paid excess service tax for the period April 2010 to Sept 2010.

Now may i claim or adjust against liability of service tax payable for the period of Oct 10 to March 2011.

As i have already filed return payable for the period oct to march 11.

If i can adjust under what section it comes?

How can i adjust excess paid against libility.

11 June 2011 To give a correct answer it is relevant to know the amount which you have collected from the customers. what is service provided by you. What is the reason for payment of excess last but not the least what amount of service you have shown in the returns.
