excess leaves impact on final ca attempt

Hi..I wanted to ask that if some1 has started articleship in September 14 and served their till Feb 15 and then takes a gap of 1 month and joins New firm from April 15 and serves their till August 16 and leaves taken during the year amounts to 120 days and then again takes a gap of 1 month and from September onwards he goes for Industrial training....can he give final ca exam in May 17...Will this leaves and gap taken cause a delay in attempt...if yes how to avoid the delay..any solution...pls help
