17 February 2013 Resp. sir,
I would like to know when i will be eligible for my CA final exam, please help me out with the following details,
My article ship Reg date - 19th May 2011
My article ship completion 19th May 2014,
As per norms my 2.5 yrs comes and end at 19th November 2013, so would by any reason institute will allow me to attempt Nov. 2013 or it will be May 2014, please help me out and also please inform me if i am wrong on any of the above mentioned facts.,

No, It is required to complete your article ship of 2.5 yrs before 31, Oct, 2013. You will be eligible for May, 2014.

Student completed the practical training as is required for admission as a member on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in which the examination is held or has been serving the last six months of practical training under Regulation 50 on the first day of the month in which the examination is held.

In computing the aforesaid period of six or twelve months, leave taken in excess of one-sixth of the actual period served subject to a maximum of days, as may be determined by the Council, shall be regarded as the period required to be served under articled or audit service, as the case may be.
