03 April 2026 Dear Experts, can we find eway bill details of inward supply without login and without document number of 2018-19, as firm has been closed. The deptt saying the purchase done by eway bills after closing of firm and asking for tax . How to handle this situation.Experts opinions are awaited

• ⚠️ Dept claim based only on e-way bill is legally weak
• 🛡️ Strong defence: No actual receipt + firm closed
• 📂 Prepare documents + file proper reply
• ✉️ Ask dept to prove actual supply (very important step)

04 April 2026 Even if your firm is active or closed, you can see the e-waybill on your e-waybill by selecting the respective date in the Eway bill file under the Other section
