hi experts, i have income from business, i have already filed my return online (ITR-4)on 26 JUNE 2016. Now in dashboard option after login showing defective return error code 31. My return is under NO ACCOUNT CASE. for last 5 years i am filing my return, but i did not receive any notice for error code 31 before this.

you have submitted ur return under head pgbp but have not filled the balance sheet and profit and loss account...error code 31 is for this query...file ur balance sheet and profit and loss account and resubmit ur return under section 139 (9)...

but sir main last 6 year se aise hi form fill kar raha hu, pehle kabhi ye problem nahi aayi aur refund bhi aaya. isi saal ye problem aayi hai. assessment year 2016-17 mein koi rules mein changes huye hain kya?

ab process change hogya hai...pehle defective return ke notice ni aate they ab aane lage hai...cpc ne return processing change ki hai..i also got the same error code of one of my client...i did the same...

Sir agar meri total annual income business se 170000 hai aur expenses 60000 hain to total income 110000 hui, jo ki 120000 se kam hai. to bhi balance sheet and p&L a/c fill karna padega kya?
