Co received bill for Rs.12000/- for AMC charges in the month of Jan 12, AMC period was Jan 12 to June 12, where as payment was made in April 12, so what entry to be made in the month of Jan 12

Hi,
In Jan 12 as on accrual basis u can book exp n deduct TDS if any, also in march u can book prepaid expenses & in april 12 reverse the same.
