27 July 2009 I have already Efiled my return & Generated ITR V and get it acknowledged from the my Income Tax Ward. Now all the ITR V to be sent to Banglore for acknowldgement.
1) Am I suppose to send ITR V to Banglore for acknowledgement ??? or
2) Acknowledged ITR V is valid ???

Please help me out.

27 July 2009 For assessment year 2009-10 ITR V of electronically filed return need not be acknowledged from the income tax ward. Instead it should be forwarded by ordinary post to B'lore. This is the direction from CBDT.
