Is E-Voting for Listed Companies mandatory, if not complied, what are the penal provisions.

MCA has decided not to treat provisions relating to voting through electronic means (e-voting) as mandatory till 31st December, 2014. The necessary Notification in this regard is being issued by MCA seperately.
To provide clarity and ensure uniformity in the e-voting procedure, MCA has issued clarifications on certain issues raised by the stakeholders, which are given in the Annexure to the General Circular No. 20/2014 dated 17th June, 2014.
