When e payment of taxes is mandatory and person [pays taxes physically whether he has to pay twice or he will get credit?

As per notification e payment is mandatory,but I have paid taxes by physical challan.I am tax auditable concern.What should I do?Should I pay it twice?

No need to pay twice you will be given credit. But this practice should not be followed consistently.
