Dear all,
I want a help regarding an information about the import duty or any other charges that are applicable in importing used phones(working and non working) from abroad especially from UK for reselling purpose.
Also please tell me what are the taxes or duties applicable if I want to export the used phones from India to china?.

it will be best if you provide the RITC code of the imported item.

Sir,
I am a new comer and do not know nuch about the terms used. I am tryin to evaluate a business plan that I have inmy mind. As of now, nothing is imported. But I am thinking of importing used mobiles(WORKING AS WELL AS NON WORKING)- smart phone category from UK and reselling it in India. Can you please guide me on the import and other charges that are applicable in that case?
Please help as this info. is not available anywhere.

please also noted that as per provision laid down in foreign trade policy2009-2014 para 2.8(iii) import/ export are exempt from IEC CODE.
