Duplicate pan

hello friends, i m facing a serious issue relating to duplicate pan card. i have two pan card by mistakely. ITD have deactivated my old pan and my second pan is already active. but i have issue with my TIN no. which i obtain on basis of old pan. so i want to reactive my old pan and surrender my new pan. please suggest me Is it possible to do so? If Yes, than what r the procedure to do so.
