17 January 2017 Dear Sir/ Madam,

My company in incorporated on 16.03.2015. Kindly let me know whether I can held the First AGM of my company on 31.12.2016.

18 January 2017 as per section 2(41) of the companies act 2013 , if the company is incorporated on or after 1st january of the current year , then financial year will be 31st of march of next year. As your Company is incorporated on 16th March 2016, so the financial year will be 31st March 2017. And as per section 96 of the companies act 2013, First AGM of the Company shall be held within 9 month from the closure of financial year. so in your case you can convene AGM maximum by 31st December 2017
