Hello all
my attempt is due in may 2012 ca final please helpme whether DTC is applicable for may 2012 exams and if not (IF DTC NOT APPLICBLE)already i purchased DT book which is for may 2011 attempt do i need to repurchase a new ref. book
presently im referring to paduka ref. book for the a/y 2011-12.

DTC is proposed to be introduced in the budget to be presented in February, 2012.
If passed, for the purpose of exams, it will be applicable from May 2013 exams and NOT MAY 2012 exams.
For May 2012 exams, Finance Act 2011 will be applicable, i.e., AY 12-13.
If passed, for the purpose of exams, it will be applicable from May 2013 exams and NOT MAY 2012 exams.
For May 2012 exams, Finance Act 2011 will be applicable, i.e., AY 12-13.
