Direct entry scheme

09 January 2013 Dear sir, please tel me whether the person who complete cpt with 112 marks and 51.4 percent in graduation(Bcom)is eligible or not for articles in direct entry scheme

You are passed CPT and if you want to take registration under direct entry Scheme on the basis of CPT, then it is not possible.

Direct Entry Scheme provide for registration on thew basis of graduation or post graduation with minimum percentage or by passing ICSI or ICAI inter level.

Such scheme not provide to student who have passed CPT and wanted to take admission under this scheme.

The following categories of students are eligible to register directly for
Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course without passing the Common Proficiency Test (CPT):-

1. Graduates or Post Graduates from Commerce stream having secured in
aggregate a minimum of 55% of the total marks or its equivalent grade or other
Graduates or Post Graduates having secured in aggregate a minimum of 60% of
the total marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any
recognised University (including Open University).
2. Candidates who have passed the Intermediate level examination or its
equivalent examination by whatever name called conducted by The Institute of
Cost Accountants of India or by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
