But,the requirement of DIN 2 and DIN 3 is not required if appointment is 15.11.2012. It is required when appointment is made before -1.07.2007.
DIN 2 is not required from proposed appointee director.
At the time of appointment, the company will demand number of papers from proposed director. DIN is one of them along with consent letter.
For this read section 266D of the Companies Act, 1956.
W.e.f. 30/07/2007 DIN 3 has became inoperative due to change in form 32 and the details have been incorporated in form 32. However, DIN 2 need to be filed.
