please let me know how can i use digital signature for the income tax return purpose

First you need to register the DSC in your login in Income tax efiling website. after registration while uploading the XML file the option need to be selected as with DSC, after selection the option it will give choice for token or pfx file. that time you can select the dsc based on your dsc nature and sign the return
