Details of Form 16 [salary] in ITR

18 July 2010 If an assessee receives Form 16 from her employer which includes the salary recd from her previous employer as well, then what amount should be actually filled in ITR where details of Form 16 are to be given as while giving details of pv. employer in separate row, it would lead to duplication and hence, give a wrong picture

18 July 2010 You need to considered consolidated as Present and Previous employer salary and show in the ITR. Consolidate the present employer form 16 ( only present employer salary and) previous employer form 16 salary details and enter in ITR.
