Designation of company secretay inter cum compliance officer

02 August 2013 what is the proper designation should be given to an employee who is company secretary inter pass and working as a compliance officer in a listed company having paid up capital of 3cr.

but designation of compliance officer is for the matter related to stock exchanges, sebi & roc.

what about usual designation, can compliance officer can be get printed on the visiting cards of the employee.

can he is executive company secretary as his designation?

15 August 2013 As per listing agreement Compliance officer is mandatory required, but it is not mandatory that company secretary will act as compliance office. Any person can act as compliance officer and such person can use such designation on his visiting card.

No need to file any intimation to ROC for having compliance officer of the company, because Companies Act, is not talking about Compliance Officer, it is a SEBI designated officer.

Yes a Company secretary of the company use the words Compliance officer.
