If, We have not used our Plant & Machinery in the F.Y.2011-12. Is it necessary to provide depriciation?

As-6 Depreciation accounting permits depreciation even though assets not used during the year.
According to the AS-6 Depreciation accounting depreciation would be charge and allowable event though the assets not used during the year.
