01 August 2020 Sir, Is there any deduction available for medical bills-expenditure for the AY 2020-21 ? I AM A SALARIED EMPLOYEE in a private sector organisation having income more than 5,00,000/- after deducting 80C deduction. Kindly clarify

01 August 2020 You can take Deductions of medical bills up to Rs. 5000 u/s 80D only if you have not utilized the limit of Rs. 25000 u/s 80D.
