06 March 2012 Whether investment in Bonds is exempt from tax u/s 80ccf for the A.Y.2012-13? If yes,then Which thpe of bonds will cover under 80CCf? What is the maximum exemption limit for claiming deduction u/s 80ccf?

06 March 2012 1. Yes investment in bonds is exempt u/s 80CCF for AY 12-13 as well.
2. Infrastructure bonds are covered u/s 80CCF.
3. The maximum deduction that can be claimed u/s 80CCF is Rs. 20,000/-.

21 March 2012 No it is not available for Financial year 2012-13. This was only for fy 2010-11 and 2011-12 read more here

21 March 2012 Dear Rajan, he is asking for AY not FY. Deduction u/s 80CCF is available for AY 12-13.

21 March 2012 Yes, I have not noticed ,for Ay 12-13 80CCF i available but for Fy 12-13 it is not available
