If an employee pays interest to his employeer for Housing Loan taken as concessional rate, then is thew employee is elegible to claim such interst U/S 24(b) provided other conditions are satisfied.

Yes, he is eligible, it has nothing to do with any perquisite under the head Salary. 24(b) comes under HP.
