31 January 2012 Dear Expert I have a query regarding deduction of TDS and my query is.....

I have collected Rs 100 from distribution of a service. Out of Rs 100 , rupees 30 is my profit and Rs 70 I have to give to the distributor. The distributor is billing me for that Rs 70 with service tax, kindly let me know if I can take Rs 100 as my turnover and should I deduct Tds on remainin 70 rupees while paying to the distributor.

We are receiving invoice from distributor which says sale of service .. doesnt this fall in purchase sale ?
