Deducting tds without having tan no.

23 September 2011 If company having only PAN no. but does not have TAN no. than how the company can deduct TDS of there parties.

Pls. help.... this is very urgent for me

23 September 2011 You can deduct TDS without TAN, but you have to apply for the same before depositing the same because TAN is mandatory for depositing TDS.

25 September 2011 you can deduct TDS without having TAN also. but you cannot deposit the tds without TAN, you need to apply for TAN when you coming under TDS deduction net
