can you anyone explain the rules for CPE hours for newly qualified Chartered Accountants who took membership.
and what are the consequences if a member has not complied CPE hours.

See ,in the first calendar year of your membership ,its not compulsory to complete CPE hours.For Ex-If you have taken membership in june 2014.You are exempt for this calendar year(jan-dec 2014).And you will have to complete your CPE hours in block of 3years from 2015.
If you are not doing practice then you have to complete 45hours in the block of 3 year ( for you it is 2015-2018) .Minimum hours to be completed per year is 10 and max is 15 as per the criteria.This criteria may change from year to year.
If you don't complete cpe hours then it may impact your membership directly.
