If expense is made on machinery which is located at warehouse then which will be the cost center?

if expenditure is of regular nature for maintaining machine then cost center is ware house, and if substantial expense is made on machinery then it must be debited to the cost of machinery.

if it dsnt increase the eficiency of machine or not of capital nature thn what should be the effect of this.
