I would like to know the meaning of supplementary overhead rates and how to solve the problems in cost accounting when mention of such rates are there in problems ? I am an IPCC student.

15 August 2011 where the problem is having supplementary overhead rate. giving hint the overhead absorption is over absorbed significant,so we need to apply that rate also for arriving the overheads
