29 April 2010 I am working with a transport company, i come across that the conveyence deduction for employees of transport company is 6000 or 70% of the allowance instead of 800 p.m
Kindly tell me the provision if there any such provision exist?

29 April 2010 YES, FOR employees of transport company the conveyance allowance is exempt 70% of allowance or 6000/- WEL
