Hello,
I am a qualified CA holding part time COP (employed in a CA firm). Can i provide consultancy services on my own separate from the firm that I work in? Can I take service tax registration if the total fees exceeds 9lakhs?

yes you can...you are just prohibited from doing attest functions.
