Hi..can anyone tell me whether a private limited company can issue compulsorily convertible preference shares?if yes kindly tell me relevant guidelines regarding the same?

Generally the provisions of section 81 of the Companies Act, 1956 is not applicable to Private Limited Company, but if you want to issue preference shares you can do so in accordance with the provisions of this section.
