Hello,
My friend is doing concurrent audit of a bank and a forud has been found in the said bank.
now bank had made complaint to ICAI against my friend and icai issued a letter to my friend for clarify the situation
what should he write to he institute...
is there any way...

In my view, first thing he must do is to gather all the audit eveidences in order to ensure that he has used true and fair view to conduct the audit.
He can provide a brief expalnation about the audit techniques and process used by him while auditing to ICAI. Later on further demand, he can submit the audit evidence and can prove that he has utmost care and addopted true and fair view while conducting audit.
