1)Please anyone let me know that whether a Company Secretary in service be an Insurance agent?
2) Whether a member of the ICSI who has not been appointed as a company secretary be an insurance agent?

Hi
A whole time company Secretary can not do any service with other company. However he can be appointed as Director with the permission of council.

But I have not seen this written anywhere so can u please clarify that where it is written because I have read that a PCS cannot be an insurance agent but I have not seen written anywhere that a CS in service cannot be an Insurance agent.
