suppose i have purchased a printer and fax machine then it would be shown as fixed assets under computer or as office equipments as computer bears 60 rate of dep in it

Please group either with "computer" or show separately as " Printer" because 60% depreciation can be claimed on printer, for income tax purpose, as per the following decisions.
(i) ITO vs. Simran Majumdar (2006) 101 TTJ 501 (Kol).
(ii) Nestle India vs. DCIT (Delhi-Tri).
