Clarification on form 26qb for two buyer and two seller

17 June 2016 I am buying a Resale property and registration would include my WIFE name also who is a house-wife or non earning member of the family. The seller are also two i.e. Husband and Wife who is housewife (Non-earning). Some CA states that no need to select "YES" to more than "One Buyer" & "One Seller" drop down list while some CA mentions that it's a non-compliance.

I tried searching Income-Tax online website & NSDL-TIN website for such scenario but did not find any exact answer.

Please help with correct answer which is inline with IT Rules and Compliance.

18 June 2016 Sir, as per rule we have to select option more than one buyer and same for seller in this case. Also tax to be deposited in two separate challan cum return.

But practically you may go for one buyer & saller, who is earner and first owner.
