19 April 2014 A client who worked in a bank.. died in January 2014.. and has recieved salary upto December 2013 on which tds is also deducted. now his son wants to claim the refund... can he do the same n how????

20 April 2014 you can claim the refund only if there is loss under any other heads of income and that too by filing returns. If there is no other income other than salary then no refund can be claimed as it is the taxable income and tax has been already deducted.
