Change in name of the company

29 March 2012 In case of change in the name of the company, does it requires to write both i.e. previous and current name of the company in all company documents, and if yes than for how much period of time.

Generally Companies Act, 1956 does not specify any specific time limit. But as per Listing Agreement it is required to mention for 3 years.

So you can use old name for 3 years as a good corporate practice.
