20 March 2012 my question is can i change my proprietorship name......
i am registered under sales tax act...
and if it is possible so what is the relevant procedure....

its urgent....

Yes, you can change the name of proprietorship. There is no law for such change like in company case, where MOA and AOA is required to change accordingly.

In case of proprietorship name change , you must change the bank account, sales tax authority and other authority where your old name reflect.
