Cgst set off in Sgst

21 May 2022 sir,
I have balance in Cgst . during apr I have sgst and cgst payable .
while auto gst 3bcaliculation cgst is made set off ,but balance after cgst set not set off sgst.
please advise

21 May 2022 As per GST act you can not setoff CGST & SGST Balance vice versa CGST balance can be set off CGST & IGST SGST balance set off SGST & IGST CGST balance you can not set off for SGST you need pay SGST by Cash Ledger.
