08 September 2011 Can any body can tell me whether cenvat credit can be taken on payment of serice tax to Rent a cab scheme perator for charging service tax. please convey me as soon as possible

08 September 2011 if your output taxable service are related to either cab operator or tours and travels, then input credit is allowed, otherwise not.
