23 February 2011 How can we check whether a private company is subsidiary of a public company or not. Does the MCA website give any indication in this regard.

23 February 2011 The MCA site does not give any apparent indication of above. But you can inspect Form 23AC filed by the company by paying Rs 50 on MCA site and by looking at point 8 of Form 23AC you will know whether the company is the subsidiary of any company and if yes which company.
