what is cash limit for deposit in bank in savings account.

there is no cash limit as such but u can get a max deduction of int on savings account u/s 80TTA

As per the existing norms, any deposits of more than Rs. 50000/- in cash in savings bank account will require quoting of PAN.

for others the limit is 5,000
