sir how to write case law name in idt and DT whether only name is required or with yr plus cit / itat also ...please explain how to write

the advisable format is for eg...CIT Vs XYZ Limited (121 ITR 1) (SC) wherein you cover the name of the parties, the citation and the name of the court.
however, if you dont remember the full citation during the exam, just write as much as you remember...for eg in the case of XYZ limited, the court held so and so...
