Is there any case law that supports the view that insurance on purchase of new car should be capitalised.?

every expenses that belongs to bring the assets in usable condition will be capitalised. Without paying first insurance you can't use the car thats why its capitalised its practice and there is no question of law too .I didn't find any case law
