Capital gain in hand of nri

This query is : Resolved

06 January 2017 My client has ancestral property and like to sale today, as per section 195 an application is to file for computation of capital gain but no such form is available for the same to apply the department and even department is unable to explain. TDS is to be deducted 20.6% on capital gain but act says that capital gain amount should be approved by assessing officer.

06 January 2017 Apply on plain paper to Foreign Tax Dept of Income tax and ask them to give the letter of low TDS or No TDS as the case may be.
