DUE TO DEATH OF HUSBAND A PLOT TRANSFERRED IN THE NAME OF WIFE.NOW SHE SOLD THE LAND DATED APPROX 20 LACS AND AS PER CALCULATION CAPITAL GAIN ARISES ON SAME.
LATER ON WIFE IS ALSO DIED WITHOUT PAYING CG TAX.
NOW WHO WILL PAY TAX.
OTHER PROBLEM I FACE WIFE HAD NOT APPLIED ANY PAN TILL YET
CAN I APPLY PAN NO OF WIFE. NOW

whether i can apply for pan of deceased (if yes then who will sign the pan form)if no without PAN how i will pay tax.All Fund received by deceased was utilize in her treatment.
