Cancer is covered under definition of disability

18 December 2014 Dear Sir,

I'm a salaried employee and working in a MNC, currently i'm suffering from Cancer since July'2014.
And my employer is providing me salary even i'm not able to go to office.

My question is that can i get deduction u/s 80-U and is my disease is meet the requirement of definitation of "disability".
I have to file my FY14-15 return in ITR-1 or ITR-2

Pls assist.
